Staying Motivated 24/7

Maintaining motivation around-the-clock can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to hitting the gym with or without a fitness coach. Personally, I face the same struggle every day when it comes to waking up early and getting my workout started. Some days, I need to convince myself for an hour or two to get out of bed, while on other days, it comes easily. Despite the challenges, I remind myself of the benefits of pushing through, as I know I will regret not doing so later on. The key is to seize the moment of motivation when it presents itself, as it can be the driving force to kickstart your fitness journey.

It's important to remember that motivation is not always constant, and that it's okay to have days where you feel less driven. Here are some tips to help you stay motivated and committed to your fitness journey:

  • Set achievable goals: Break down your larger fitness goals into smaller, more manageable ones. This will help you track your progress and feel motivated by your accomplishments along the way.

  • Find a workout buddy: Having someone to workout with can help keep you accountable and motivated. Plus, it's always more fun to exercise with a friend!

  • Create a way to measure your progress: Do what is comfortable with you and you know will excite you. I track the number of kilometers I run every week as well as the weights I lift for certain exercises. I also started taking photos week to week again.

  • Celebrate your successes: Don't forget to celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem. Acknowledging your progress can help keep you motivated and focused on your goals. As simple as taking a selfie after a workout may be the reward you need. It reminds me every time I visit my gallery that I worked out that day.

Remember, staying motivated is a journey in itself. It's important to be kind to yourself and recognize that it's okay to have setbacks or off days. By incorporating these tips into your routine, you can help maintain your motivation and stay committed to your fitness journey.
